My architectural education at Cal Poly Pomona has further developed my ability to think critically and graphically communicate design ideas through sketches, diagrams, massing studies, 3D models, presentation drawings, and detailed documentation. Throughout my academic work, I have earned multiple Outstanding Architecture Student Awards, the Architecture Chair’s Choice Award, and recognition in Cal Poly Pomona’s Spring and Fall Interim reviews from 2022 2024 for design excellence. In 2025, my partner and I also received 3rd Place in the CASH Student Design Awards, reflecting my commitment to thoughtful, sustainable, and community-oriented design solutions.

Solar
Design
While working at Sustainable Energy Group, I established and led the company’s solar drafting department, building its Revit-based workflow from the ground up. This included creating new templates, families, drafting standards, checklists, and regularly updating them as new technical information was received. I worked closely with installation crews and electricians on a daily basis to understand the construction, coordination, and documentation needs of both roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systems.
In this role, I translated site visit data into complete solar construction documentation, producing residential and commercial solar layouts, single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, site plans, roof plans, equipment details, and permit-ready drawing packages for county and city submittals. Managing multiple projects at once strengthened my ability to work with precision, consistency, and responsiveness throughout the permitting process, while giving me a strong foundation in renewable design, technical standards, and BIM-based production.
Although my primary passion is architectural design, my background extends across multiple drafting and documentation fields, including architectural, civil, solar, and mechanical drafting. This range of experience has strengthened my ability to adapt to different project types, technical standards, drawing conventions, and production workflows.
My mechanical drafting training was completed primarily in AutoCAD, using versions from 2017–2023, with drawings developed according to ASME Y14.5-2009 standards. This foundation gave me a strong understanding of precision drafting, dimensioning, tolerances, annotation standards, and technical clarity. Combined with my architectural, civil planning, and renewable energy documentation experience, it reflects my ability to work beyond one discipline and contribute to projects that require accuracy, coordination, and a strong technical drafting skill set.
